Chai tea is another classic fall/winter drink. Its notes of ginger, cinnamon, cardamom, black pepper and cloves are so warming and comforting. Adding in the caramel syrup and coconut milk adds even more depth of flavor. This chai tea latte is clean, vegan, dairy free and sugar free and it’s so delicious and so easy to make!

TOOLS YOU MAY NEED

  • Your favorite mug
  • Blender, frother or jar with lid

HOW TO MAKE A CARAMEL CHAI TEA LATTE

Start by brewing your chai tea. I used 2 bags of Tazo Organic Chai tea and followed the directions on the box. Steep the tea bags in 1 cup of boiling water for 5 minutes.

Next remove the bags and add 1 cup of unsweetened coconut milk or almond milk and 2 tsp of sugar free caramel syrup to a blender, Magic Bullet or a jar with a lid and blend or shake. This will result in a colder drink. If you would like the latte to be warm, simply put the coconut or almond milk in a saucepan and bring just to a simmer. You can then add the warm milk to blender and blend with the other ingredients.

Pour into your favorite mug and top with cinnamon!

Enjoy!
