FAQs
Can I use store-bought sugar cookie dough in this recipe?
You can of course use store-bought sugar cookie dough for this recipe! Simply press the dough into the pan and continue with the recipe as is!
Can I use frozen or canned fruit?
If you’re using frozen fruit, be aware that as it thaws, the juices will leak onto the dessert pizza itself, which may cause mushiness. I suggest thawing out frozen fruit and draining the juices prior to adding it. If you decide to use canned fruit, again, I recommend draining the juices before topping this fruit pizza!
How do I store this fruit pizza?
Store the fruit pizza in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 2-5 days. I love using my 9 x 13 casserole dish because it has a lid, but you could also cut up the fruit pizza and place it into containers. You can also use plastic wrap to cover it for storage.
