It only takes 5 minutes to whip up this delicious sweet and salty no bake fall snack mix that’s the perfect for your weekly snack prep.

My kids would live on snacks if I let them (maybe you can relate). I try my best to have healthy snacks like fresh fruit, veggies, cheese and sausage available to them. We also usually have something like pretzels or goldfish crackers lying around, but sometimes I like to have something fun for them to munch on. And although I’m far from a Pinterest mom, I do enjoy a good themed snack or dish. That’s why I love this fall snack mix recipe. As it says from the title, there’s no baking involved and it comes together in about five minutes.
All you need is a giant mixing bowl and all the ingredients. You simply dump everything in the bowl and mix it up. That’s it! It’s so easy, it’s something your kids can absolutely help you with too! This snack mix combines the sweet flavors of buttered toffee and peanut butter candies with the saltiness of pretzels and dry roasted peanuts. If you’re a lover of that type of snack, you’ll love this recipe!

FAQs
How do I store this fall snack mix?
You can store this sweet and salty snack in an airtight container or containers for up to three weeks (or more) in a cool dark place like your pantry or a cabinet. Mason jars with airtight lids work really great or you can also use some kind of Tupperware.
Can I make substitutions in this recipe?
With any recipe like this, you can absolutely make substitutions. You can really change out any ingredient to your liking. Change the type of pretzels, the Chex mix to a different flavor and even the popcorn. If you want a saltier snack, opt for regular or buttered popcorn instead of toffee or caramel. Don’t like peanuts? No problem, just remove them completely or sub them for a different type of nut. Not a fan of white chocolate? That’s okay too! Semi-sweet chocolate or even butterscotch chips would taste great too! This is your food, so make it how you want it. But I will tell you this mix is really good as is!
How much snack mix does this recipe make?
In total this recipe makes about 13 cups. I think it’s the perfect amount for a party or even

Ingredients
Popcorn: Flavors I associate with fall is caramel and toffee. It makes me think of caramel apples or Snicker apple salad. It’s just a warm, rich flavor that I love. In this fall snack mix, I like to use either caramel popcorn or buttered toffee popcorn. Crunch n’ munch has both flavors and they both taste amazing in this recipe.
Peanuts: I think peanuts pair really well with caramel and cinnamon, plus they add a bit of saltiness to this snack mix. I like to use dry roasted peanuts, but you can use cocktail peanuts, honey roasted peanuts, salted peanuts or even change up the nut all together.
Cinnamon Chex cereal: Cinnamon is a pretty prominent fall flavor and really complementing to the caramel and peanut flavor in this snack mix. There are lots of flavors of Chex cereal I didn’t even know about, including caramel corn, which would also go really well in this mix.
Mini pretzels: I like mixing in salty elements with sweet because it really balances the sweetness and flavor. You can use any kind of mini pretzel you want. The squares are kind of fun and what I used, but use your favorite.
Reece’s pieces: Not only are Reece’s pieces so stinkin’ good, they also are orange, yellow and brown, which are the colors of fall of course! Again, they add that peanut butter flavor too.
White chocolate chips: I like adding in white chocolate chips because I think it goes well and rounds out this fall snack mix. You can also use butterscotch chips, semi-sweet chocolate chips or leave them out if you desire.
