Ingredients to Make Skillet Cowboy Beans
- Bacon: I love to use a thick cut bacon in this recipe, but any bacon of your choosing will taste amazing!
- Ground Sausage: I prefer to use mild sausage since my family and I aren’t into much spice, but feel free to use hot.
- Ground Hamburger: Use any hamburger you have on hand. I try to use a leaner blend so I don’t have as much grease to remove.
- Diced Peppers: Again, I prefer to use sweet peppers since they’re not spicy, but if your’e into the heat, you could use hot peppers like jalapeños.
- Bush’s Baked Beans: I get the 28 oz can of original Bush’s baked beans, but any kind will do. If you choose to go fully homemade, you can make your own sauce and add in your favorite cooked beans.
